InCUBE Project Progress: A Video Spotlight

• The use of robotics and automation in Groningen to enhance renovation efficiency and safety. Technologies such as drilling and demolition robots, AI-powered waste sorting, and prefabricated facades are helping to streamline the renovation process. 

• The implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Zaragoza for smarter, data-driven decision-making. BIM enables real-time monitoring of energy performance and facilitates collaboration among stakeholders to optimize renovations. 

• The creation of renewable energy communities in Trento, fostering local energy management and social inclusion. The project supports a cloud-based distributed energy management system, allowing residents to participate in energy generation and consumption. 

InCUBE aims to demonstrate how a combination of industrialization, digitalization, innovative materials, and new market approaches can transform the building sector and accelerate Europe’s energy transition.
