On July 10th, join Van Wijnen for a tour of the newly renovated Van Heemskerck flat in Groningen to see innovation in action!
Renovation work at the Van Heemskerckflat in Groningen is making great strides. The building is now fully enclosed with a new prefabricated façade—an important milestone in bringing energy-efficient, future-ready housing to life. Work has also begun on the new bike shed at the rear of the building, while inside, several rooms have been completed with fresh flooring and newly finished walls, offering a first glimpse of the transformation ahead.
To share this progress with the local community, Van Wijnen and the Zeeheldenbuurt neighbourhood association are hosting a guided tour of the Dutch demo site on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The event is open to all residents and offers a chance to explore the upgrades, ask questions, and meet the team behind the project.
