How do you know if a renovation will actually deliver what it promises? This joint webinar brings together two EU-funded projects tackling the same barrier from two different angles: reliable data for deep energy renovation.
ReLIFE shares the macro view – open, EU-wide datasets and platform services covering building stock analysis, renovation costs, and financing pathways across all 27 Member States.
InCUBE brings the micro view – real, instrumented renovation sites. The spotlight case is a fully renovated 1971 apartment block in Zaragoza, where we’ll compare the energy savings predicted on paper with what residents’ actual consumption data shows.
Together, the two projects trace one story: what renovation should deliver, what it actually delivers, and how better data closes that gap.
This one-hour event will count with short presentations followed by a panel discussion and live audience Q&A, where participants will be able to interact with the speakers and delve deeper into the topic.

His work focuses on technical and economic analyses of energy systems. He is the Coordinator of the ReLIFE project and leads several international and regional initiatives on sustainability and circular economy strategies. |

Clara is a Team Leader at CIRCE’s Energy Efficiency Group and a certified Passivhaus Designer and BREEAM Associate with a background in architecture. Her work focuses on the decarbonisation of cities and buildings, including climate resilience and life cycle assessment. She has over 10 years of experience in the AECO sector and has led the design and certification of more than 2,000 nearly zero-energy homes in Spain. |
