The event brought together experts, innovators, and professionals to discuss how new methods and technologies are redefining the construction process, professional roles, and sustainability targets.
Representing InCUBE was partner Metro7, Beatriz Gimeno and Jose Bailach presented several successful offsite construction projects. Their presentation showcased Minimal, Metro7’s modular construction system designed and built in Zaragoza, offering efficient, high-quality, and sustainable solutions for both residential and public projects.
Through the example of InCUBE’s demonstration site in Zaragoza’s Balsas de Ebro Viejo neighbourhood, Metro7 illustrated how 100% offsite modular construction can improve accessibility, reduce on-site disruption, and accelerate renovation timelines.
A total of 33 participants attended the event, representing key organisations and construction companies across Aragon. Together, they explored how industrialised approaches, supported by digitalisation, Lean methodologies, and European collaboration, are driving the transformation of the construction sector.
