The Re–Habitat Summit in Zaragoza was held on November 28th, and brought together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss innovative solutions for sustainable building renovation
Organized by the College of Quantity Surveyors and Technical Architects of Zaragoza, the event showcased the latest advancements in industrialized rehabilitation and energy-efficient construction.

The InCUBE presentation featured industry leaders discussing the development of new solutions and techniques for sustainable renovation. Speakers included José Bailach Hernandis, Managing Partner at METRO7; Mapi Dal, Architect at METRO7; Alberto Moldon, Director at Kover SXXI; and Clara Lorente Martín, Architect specializing in sustainability and energy efficiency at Fundación CIRCE. Their insights emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving large-scale urban renewal.
With renovation on the InCUBE demo set to start in February 2025, Zaragoza is positioning itself as a leader in scalable urban rehabilitation. The success of this project could serve as a model for other European cities looking to accelerate sustainable renovation.
